“The good news is, a lot of it (proposed condos) won’t get built,” Miami Developer Kevin Maloney of PMG told CNBC. “Actually, in 2023 only about 10 percent of the buildings that were planned actually got a shovel in the ground and are being built. That is mostly a function of interest rates and rising costs.”
