This is a transcript from episode four of the “Special Report: Florida’s 2025 Condo Association Financial Cliff” podcast series.
Jose Pazos, the founder and CEO of A-Smart Cam LLC management company in Miami, said his firm handles the administrative responsibilities of more than 6,000 units in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Pazos said about 75 percent of the associations that his firm oversees will comply with the new state laws that go into effect in 2025.
Pazos said he has been working diligently since 2022 in anticipation of the dramatic changes coming to the Sunshine State’s condo market since the Florida Legislature adopted a series of new laws in the aftermath of the Surfside condo collapse.
